Evidently the left has decided the demonization of guns has been won, it's just a matter of time and it's time to move on to the next target. Did anyone of you notice the editorial early this week in the Dallas Morning News about knives? Woman now wants all knives over 5 1/2 inches outlawed unless y...

Re: The Opioid Crisis. What's going on? Who is responsible?

Last year I fell while trimming some shrubs and broke both bones in my wrist. I drove to the hospital for some X-rays and had the arm splinted. They gave me a prescription for a pain killer and after I got home and took it I was introduced to "Projectile Vomiting". That crap was immediatel...

I plead guilty by reason of being an old fart. And what makes it more embarrassing is that I have family that live there. I think that's where they shot the Elvis movie "Blue Hawaii"and Isn't that where they have the Fern Grotto? They also shot scenes for one of the Viet Nam movies and par...

Been there twice, my favorite of the islands. See the volcano. walk on the lava fields, go watch the lava dumping into the ocean. I went to Emerald beach, the Black Beach and lots of waterfalls. Two cities to go see, Kona is where they have the Iron Man competition, Hilo is on the other side of the ...

You have my sincerest sympathies. I know it's hard but sometimes necessary. We had to do this with my mother as she approached 90 also, but we were able to keep her in town and near her friends and family. We also made a point of one of us being there for church services every week.

Re: Colorado Vacation ideas....4 corners area

Since it's just me I wasn't interested in doing much in the way of cooking. I could walk to the train station, walk to the grocery store and walk to any number of restaurants. I picked up some breakfast food for the room and always ate lunch while playing tourist, I was usually tired in the evening ...

Re: Colorado Vacation ideas....4 corners area

I spent a week in Durango last year and had a really good time. I would recommend taking the train to Silverton and returning by bus, Different scenery and you get a running monologue from the bus driver about the scenery, You can also take a rubber raft trip down the Animus river if you're a darede...

Re: Gypsies

I know there used to be what was described as a gypsy encampment in an old trailer park near Ft. Worth Ave and Westmoreland. It's gone now. The vehicle of choice seemed to be pickup trucks with windowless camper shells on the bed.

Almost all Costco Pharmacies use them. You can see the clear plastic tubes going from the pharmacy overhead to a secure area for some drugs.

Does sitting in a hot tub count? I did sit in a hot tub one night last week in a resort in the Smokies. The one in my master bathroom has not been used in over 12 years. I have to try and remember to occasionally run the water to fill up the trap.

Are you likely to get pregnant? Otherwise it's relatively a minor issue, lot's of people don't even realize they had it.

The normal Pump really doesn't help with low blood sugar issues. It's designed try and control the high blood sugar problems by feeding a small continuous drip of insulin. Some of the newer pumps constantly monitor the blood and can feed glucose or insulin as needed but they're not 100% foolproof ei...

I got 86%, but I cheated. I still have a 1956 Belair 2 door hdtp so I get to see some of the old cars more often.
