Re: Your Texas Rangers

A thrilling win tonight on a home run by Adrian Beltre. Love that guy, certainly in my top five favorite Rangers of all-time.

One of the many things I've been wrong about was them signing him in 2011. I would make a poor GM.

Re: Your Texas Rangers

It is amazing how they can go from doing no wrong to playing like that. That one was difficult to watch.

Re: Your Texas Rangers

It kinda sounds like the Red Sox paid dearly for this trade.

Re: Your Texas Rangers

Geez Louise, they were crawling to the all-star break. The optimist in me says they will come back refreshed, some of their injured will be back, and things will be better. The pessimist in me says the first half was fool's gold and they will tank. Whatever we have here, I have really enjoyed the se...

I see a Bucc-ee's on there, north of Fort Worth. The place has to be the new one on I-35. Dang.

Re: Your Texas Rangers

They break the little losing streak in Boston and I enjoy it greatly. Moron Joe West was the ump behind the plate for this one, and now they are something like 2-8 when he calls balls and strikes in Ranger games.

Re: Today in Texas History - July 3

I didn't know it was that new. Thanks for posting that.

Back in the mid-80s, a girlfriend of mine once amused herself by counting up how many of their billboards existed on I-35 between the Red River and there.

Re: Your Texas Rangers

Another big win for the Hometown Heroes. Came off last night's disappointment and wore out the offending sox. And they did it again on Sunday. It makes me really happy to see the Red Sox Nation (I hate that name) go home after watching their team lose again to the Rangers. I wonder how many of them...

Re: Your Texas Rangers

They come from behind and win again, sweeping the Cards.

I was amused at Eric Nadel's description of all of the empty seats, comparing that many no-shows to LA Angels fans. It was a sell out, but about a third of the seats were empty.

Re: Your Texas Rangers

We're not hearing much from the JD bashers these days. The Nolan Ryan butt-kissers have been pretty silent, too. I think they've all taken to Tweeting their complaints about the lineups and whatnot. I nearly unfollowed Evan Grant last night because of all the stupid stuff he gets. Here is a Tweet f...
