Same as you Kent.
If he needs support he gets it, though he never asks for it.
Same with grandson who is 17 now....if we are in the position to help we always will.

Re: School dress code

A woman in North Carolina wore the same dress her daughter was sent home from school for wearing (I know – my syntax is strange): http://tinyurl.com/n7by9he When you look at the photo, would you be more concerned about the skirt length or the cleavage showing--assuming you are the dress police at a...

Re: My son keeps trying to kill me...

Reading the article again it seems she was upset that she wasn't offered respite care for her son as it's not him that is in danger. Respite is not normally offered to ease the parents burden unless a child is severly handicapped. She has also withdrawn his medication because she says it wasn't help...

Re: My son keeps trying to kill me...

I know people who have died when the parent was in denial their child was violent. Not crazy about the publicity for a child this young, but whatever it takes to get him the help he needs. The alternative is not near as pleasant. Ignoring a violent child is not the alternative to what she has done ...

Re: My son keeps trying to kill me...

Maybe the mother thinks that someone will come forward to help her or get the boy psychiatric help. :?: The boy definately needs psychiatric help, and it should be available without revealing his identity to the tabloids. I think the way some parents run to the press (complete with family snaps) wh...

Re: My son keeps trying to kill me...

Sometimes I think it's the parent's lack of attention and the need to draw drama toward them. If that were me, I definitely wouldn't be posting anything like that on-line. I would quietly deal with it through doctors and specialists. It's such a sad story; lord only knows just how many children are...

My son keeps trying to kill me...

So she goes to the papers and names and shames him, complete with several pics of him smiling innocently towards the camera. Why do parents feel the need to expose their children in the media when they are obviously suffering from an illness that needs medical help not public scrutiny? I had to laug...
