Re: Dad handles inappropriate text messages

Teachers aren't the only ones who overstep boundaries in some of these situations. Teachers are in responsible positions of trust...thats the difference between them and the kids they each. Or if you meant the dad overstepped his boundaries, he had a right to protect his family and his property.......

Re: How soon is too soon?

I think if they cared anything about standards of decency, they wouldn't have lived together without being married to begin with. What Jagger does now doesn't make much difference. They were living together? I I hadn't heard that. All the reports I saw said she hung herself in her apartment, not &q...

I guess many thought so, but we now know..not so much.

Makes no difference to me..I never heard of her..I don't follow show biz marriages or love affairs.

Re: How soon is too soon?

She was a bit more than a 'girlfriend'. They had been together for 14 years and lived together for the last 7 years. Thats probably longer than most showbiz marriages last nowadays.
She has left everything she owned to him in her will.

Re: How soon is too soon?

I thought this entire thread was about when it is appropriate to date after losing a mate to death? What is the magic number?? Everyone has there own opinion. Personally I think the eve of her OH's funeral to embark on a new relationship is stretching it a bit. Some think Mick Jagger is being disre...

I dont think anyone need ask permission, you should live your life according to your own rules no one elses.
I imagine loneliness is a lot more painful than criticism anyway.

Don't want to cast any stones in these situations. Life is for the living.......to quote from a book I once read........."If I wait, she won't be any more dead." Though, I admit, I told my husband he'd better wait at least 6 months. :D I am all for getting on with life, but there HAS to b...

Re: Dad handles inappropriate text messages

A Maryland dad likely won't see any charges after he struck a local teacher with a baseball bat. Police say the dad saw a series of texts on Thursday between the 42-year-old teacher and his daughter, a 15-year-old student. The girl's mother deemed them "inappropriate for a teacher and a studen...

Thats so touching, and it makes us realise that behind every statistic are real human beings that will carry the pain of losing loved ones in conflict for ever.
