Why are we just hearing about this now?
The people in charge should be held accountable somehow.

Re: Ever been to Waxahachie?
I agree on HUCKS. We couldn't get good fish anywhere in the metroplex including McKinney. We would drive to Hucks from McKinney even when gas was $4/gallon. Another thing we like about Hucks is that you don't have to spend $$$$ for "all you can eat". We live in Sulphur Springs now, and the...

Re: The Chinese virus
we need to figure out as a nation how to reduce our reliance on CHINESE imports in our critical supply chain. Screw the Chinese: everything that is happening now is their fault, and we should acknowledge that and sanction them for it. Agreed. I know we would pay more for products, but we could at l...

I want to change the open/close mechanism on my wood blinds from twist stick to a pull string.
Anyone know who does this in McKinney area. I used someone a few years ago in Carrollton.

Re: synthetic vs reg oil
My owners manual says that 5w=30 is best for my Silverado and DO NOT use other weights. Sounds nit picky to me. I have found that blended is hard to find at an oil change place and they say full synthetic is same price ?????..anyway whatever. Re: lawn mower. mine has to be drained from the fill spou...

Re: synthetic vs reg oil
thanks for the opinions. I decided to go with "lawn mower" oil at the local ACE hardware. bought in 20 oz. bottle. This is probably the same as motor oil, just a marketing gimmic. BTW. I found out that my brother-in-law has always used regular oil in his 2011 Platnimum Ford instead of the ...

synthetic vs reg oil
I am changing the oil in my lawn mower with Honda engine. It calls for 10w30 or 30 wt oil. I was wondering if I could refil with some 5w-30 synthetic oil I have left over.

Did you ever buy a new car and in a "short" time, get a ding in it? I just doesn't see NEW anymore.
That's the way I feel about "new" hail damaged cars.

BTW, on the front name plate, it said "made only by General Motors" I didn't know Frigidaire was ever owned by GM.

Kinda regret giving away my grandmothers Frigidare now. It had been in my barn for over 20 years. Rats ate the wiring and i had no use for it anyway.
