Re: It's Friday the 13th... Are you superstitious?

Black people are very superstitious. I use to install phones in the Black part of town and saw a lot of that kind of stuff. There is always an old woman in the neighborhood that everyone is afraid of because she puts hexes on people. If you check, almost every Black home has a small mirror hanging b...

Yep, I'm superstitious, but not about Friday the 13th.
We have a set of coffee mugs I won't drink out of because every time I have, I've had a bad day.
I won't step on a sidewalk crack. My mother's still alive and I don't want to break her back.

Re: Iraq Pleads for Help!

They are probably going to cut through Baghdad like a hot knife through butter. Iraq as a country is probably finished. There will be 3 countries, a Kurdish one, an Iranian one, and a Sunni one. The whole Iraq war was a total waste. It was worse than a waste. It was counterproductive. Saddam should...

I suspect most politicians are convicted in federal courts.

What would a third strike be?
They're pouring in across the border at will, now.
How can it get any worse?

Re: Iraq in Danger of Falling To Al-quida

Bush should have left Saddam alone. He was harmless to us, and had the brutality to hold Iraq together and keep it away from Iran as well as the Sunni radicals. I predicted this would happen when we first went into Iraq in 2003. We would eventually leave and Iraq would fall to the strongest force of...

It doesn't make a lot of sense.
Iran has airliners of it's own.
Why hatch an elaborate scheme to steal one?

Hillary has been a liar ever since I've known anything about her.
She is pathological. She will lie when the truth sounds better for her case. She can't help herself.

I think if they cared anything about standards of decency, they wouldn't have lived together without being married to begin with. What Jagger does now doesn't make much difference. They were living together? I I hadn't heard that. All the reports I saw said she hung herself in her apartment, not &q...

Re: Let's get rid of High School Sports

There is no reason to have sports in school. You can involve your kids in sports through Little League, The YMACA/YWCA , Pop Warner football and other organizations. I'm not going to change your opinion. But I'll tell you a little fact, courtesy of my wife, who has coached in high school and jr. hi...

A person can lie long enough that he no longer knows the difference between the truth and a lie.
The Clintons arrived there a long time ago. It looks like Kerry is there, too.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. No problem. You're safe. Sports won't leave the public schools on our lifetimes. It is too engrained in public opinion.

I barely know who George Strait is. I've never heard one of his songs. I can talk all day about Lefty Frizzell, Carl Smith or Flatt and Scruggs. Have you been living under a rock? He's only been around about 30 years and maybe had 30 or 40 no.1 hits. I don't listen to or watch anything that would p...

I guess the Kaiser hadn't seen Harlem first hand, or Boston Harbor area, he would have changed his mind if he had. Otherwise, its a big Ho-Hum to this story, it is afterall 2014 isn't it ?
