Gingrich for Speaker?

Hannity had Gingrich on his show, yesterday. He asked Gingrich if he would return as House Speaker if asked to. A person does not have to be a member of the House to be elected Speaker. (I wasn't aware of that). Anyway, Gingrich said he would be open to it. I don't think it will happen, but would pr...

Re: Millions of radios across the country were turned off..

I don't believe there is "one" Conservative Leader; Right-wingers are generally self-reliant and not easily led; that is why they do so poorly in Political Fights. Rush is not a leader..he's just our greatest thinker . Really? Steyn is an entertainer..like Rush was years ago. Rush is the ...

Re: Millions of radios across the country were turned off..

Name calling is called for when simply trying to explain or make a simple statement of one's opinion becomes a reason to demean or belittle someone. In this case..me believing Rush is the leading voice of Conservatism in the land demands that he intimate that I have no opinions of my own..or can't ...

"New Coke" to the delight of many and "Dad's Root Beer"...gonners Is Grapette or Delaware Punch still around? I liked them both. Grapette was great. Did Delaware Punch come in a can? I get it confused with Hawaiian Punch I think. It came in a bottle. Opps- I just found out it al...

Re: Millions of radios across the country were turned off..

..and if I didn't know who was..or didn't even have a few names to suggest who it MIGHT be..I'd keep my own mouth shut. Unless you had someone telling you what to think, I'm sure you would have to keep your mouth shut. You'd have no choice. What would you do if Rush kicked the bucket? Start roaming...

Re: Millions of radios across the country were turned off..

About what I expected. It's fine if you don't know who the primary defining voice of Conservatism is. But if you don't..telling those of us that know for sure that we're wrong..is just being a dipwad. When you don't know something..staying out of it is a great plan. Rush is a talented radio mouth. ...

Re: Millions of radios across the country were turned off..

Steyn is an entertainer..like Rush was years ago. Rush is the leader of the Conservative movement..has been for years. Don't think so. Rush is in the same category as O'Reilly, Mark Levin and Hannity. He's better than those people, but he's still there to entertain his listeners. Go ahead..you tell...

Re: Food they don't sell anymore

Plano Bottling Company makes cane sugar Dr Pepper; it is available at convenience stores in Brenham and Bryan; most often in retro 20 oz. bottles. Don't know where else they distribute it. Having said that, I still liked going to Dublin to get Dublin Dr Pepper.... I thought Dr. Pepper had sued the ...

Re: 800-pound man kicked out of hospital for ordering pizza

Sarcasm , messed up glands are pretty much BS in most cases imo !! Depending on a persons height anything over maybe 250 , 300 pounds is self indulgence in my opinion . 250 pounds on a tall big guy is normal imo . My opinion is that when a big tall guy hits 250 and then just keeps putting on weight...
