Re: The other 45 years ago

Kiamichi I too am missing your point, are you trying to say Teddy was not involved? Or he carefully orchestrated the event, or what? The hypothesis in my first post is not mine but one that has been put forward by others and I believe it fits the facts better than any other I have seen, Occham's ra...

Re: The other 45 years ago

Image 3 on this slideshow shows the car still in the water after the body has been removed. It has been turned to rest on its right side so it can be turned upright and towed out of the water, as shown in another picture. So that explains the damage to the right side. http://www.boston.com/news/spec...

Re: The other 45 years ago

Kennedy reportedly left the cottage with Kopechne at 11:15 and no one on the island claimed to have seen him there again until the next morning except his two alleged co-conspirators. According to all accounts I have seen the ferry continued to run until midnight (it was just a 500-foot trip). Kopec...

Re: The other 45 years ago

That car looks just like I would expect a car to look that had rolled on its right side down a steep embankment and come to rest on its roof.

Re: The other 45 years ago

Photographs of the car at the scene show it had the roof pushed in and the windshield badly cracked, understandable as it was resting on its top in the water, but no front-end damage at all, so the collision theory does not hold water.

Re: The other 45 years ago

What the people who believe Kennedy was driving when the car went off the bridge have never been able to explain is the fact that several disinterested witnesses saw him, dry and unconcerned, at the hotel on the mainland very shortly after the accident (after he, a poor swimmer, had supposedly swum ...

My recollection is that I didn't see it live because I was working on the night shift at a summer job at the hub cap factory, so I don't think it was a Sunday.

You mean like the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Note?
That section of the Constitution has no relevance at all to anything the federal government does.

Re: The FED has stolen 141 billion worth of German Gold

The Constitution does not say that only gold and silver are legal tender. It says that no state may declare anything else to be legal tender. There is an enormous difference.

Re: Immigrant children to Dallas

President Obama intends to notify Congress of his request on Monday, and the administration also will ask lawmakers to modify existing statutes to make it easier to return unaccompanied children to their home countries, an administration official said. The administration’s plans were first reported...

The administration is deceiving the public. From these figures, it sounds like the immigration authorities are taking into custody and removing larger numbers of aliens from the country than ever before, when the fact is that enforcement operations in the interior of the country have virtually halte...

Re: A thought about the invasion from the south

The news is full of accounts of Central Americans being robbed, abused and extorted on their way through Mexico by officials and other criminals, from the time they pay a bribe to get past the border until they have to pay whoever controls the stretch of river they choose to cross at. This has been ...

Re: Avoid taking sides in Iraq, says Rand Paul

Smedley Butler was never in a combat role in either the Spanish-American War or WWI. His Medals of Honor were awarded for actions in Mexico and Haiti during the U. S.' turn-of-the-century surge of meddling abroad. During this period the Medal of Honor was the only medal for valor and was awarded in ...

Re: Texas leaders OK millions for new border surge

Refugee and asylum status has been an immigration racket since forever. Unless things have changed in the last few years you can see a steady stream of California-plated pickups hauling loads of second-hand goods (always covered by blue tarps) and pulling second vehicles going east through Marfa and...

Batting greatly outweighs fielding and base running, if they are ranked of equal importance it skews the results.

Re: Texas leaders OK millions for new border surge

The only assistance the state could give would be to provide food and lodging. No amount of "deterrence" would make any difference, it would just make it easier for illegal entrants to find someone to surrender to.

Re: Tea Party Knocks Off Eric Cantor

IMHO, he lost because of immigration, pure and simple. Most people, D or R, oppose amnesty by about 3 to 1. You're right on all counts. The country has mostly decided it does not wish to try to kick out 15 million or so people. But the country has also decided..these people must NEVER be citizens.....
