Thanks for the info. I'm glad to say I haven't seen that one around here...................................yet. I first heard of it a few years ago in a story about it being in Navarro County. It's now in Ellis County. I've mostly seen it along the highway but have also seen it in pastures. I...

Re: Texas judge shot last night in Austin

I think when they say Tarrytown is an "exclusive" neighborhood that's code for "not exactly what you would call mixed." It's also code for "ruined by invading Californians". BTW the whole family got a big laugh out of your one liner. Too good not to share. I had forgot...

Re: Texas judge shot last night in Austin

If I read Willie's obituary correctly she is his granddaughter-in-law. Wouldn't it be great if this turned out to be a blood feud with Oscar Snowden's family?        GOOD ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sis says she is Willie's daughter but she could be mistaken. I did...

Re: Texas judge shot last night in Austin

John, are you old and have you lived in Austin a long time? I ask because I wonder if the judge is related to Willie Kocaruk. He had stores that sold appliances, tires, etc. He advertised like crazy on t.v. and radio in the 60s and 70s. His mottos, about their payment plan were "Where there's a...

just interesting info , looks like feral hogs can be killed with Vengeance . --- https://tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/wild/nuisance/feral_hogs/ --- even though the poor aminals can't shoot back . Wild hogs are a total nuisance. I do not feel sorry for them one bit. They breed like crazy and are very des...

Re: Trump on SNL

I saw a portion of what I assume was the opening bit. Really lame. I couldn't stand to watch it all the way through. Too painfully bad. None of those folks seemed to be professional actors/comedians/whatever. And it's almost impossible to understand Trump's wife.

Re: pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow

I'm pretty sure they are hunting. The shooting is in the early morning and started yesterday. I just looked up deer season in Hopkins County. Yep, started yesterday. Snipe season is from Oct. 31 to Feb. 14. In all the years I've lived here I've seen exactly ONE Snipe. Didn't know it was a game bird....

The guns I'm hearing are shooting more than 3 in a row. Sounds more like 8 or 10.

Reminds me of a bumper sticker my sis and I used to have "I support the right to arm bears."

Re: pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow pow

I'm not sure I'd want to live where people hunt. It's a negative part of living in the country to me as are neighbor's dogs running loose in my yard. I also dislike the fact that anyone around me can put in a pig farm or a junk yard if they wish because of lack of zoning. And I'm not really fond of...

Another morning of hearing this before sunrise. What kind of weapons are they using and what are they hunting? Sounds like semi automatic. Is that kosher when one is hunting animals that can't shoot back?

Re: Ben CARSON on defensive because of his

The Democrats and the Republican establishment can't afford for a black conservative to gain steam. They took out a good man, Herman Cain, back in 2012. They are trying to do the same thing to Dr. Carson now. The Democrats and the Republican establishment are becoming more and more indistinguishabl...
