Just got back from my favorite Brookshires. They can't keep the Blue Bell stocked. The guy stocks it and it gets purchased immediately.

Re: Heard on the radio.
Absolutely! Part of me would love to travel but when it has come down to making choices my choice is always to be near Bob, the equine girls, and the canine boys. That fact that I have a year old car with only 4800 miles on it says a lot about how much I love being home.

Re: Quinnipiac Poll today..

I think there are a whole lot of people.....particularly women...... like me out here. I would vote for almos...

I tried that with my Poodle back when I was single and broke. Too much work even though they just get a kennel clip. I'd rather pay someone else to do it and to clean up the mess.

Re: Gloria Steinem
I listen to NPR on Saturdays (Car Talk and Wait Wait) and frequently when I'm driving. There are some great shows. I especially enjoy The Texas Standard, The Take Away, This American Life, and Weekend Edition. I also like Dianne Rehm when she's not talking politics. An open mind is a very good thin...

Yeah, we were told that too. From the reading I did yesterday that is apparently not true. Apparently this thing has been around since at least the 1500s.

That's terrible. Poor Phoebe. I'm sure your mom felt guilty.
I know my boys are fine with my groomer because Alex drags me into the place. He then heads right to his cage and goes in. It's pretty funny to watch. Harry just goes along with whatever Alex does.

I've always respected Gloria. Don't like everything she has said - particularly what she has said about men and marriage. But she has accomplished a great deal for women's rights.
