Someone on the radio today made the argument that he was not a deserter but a defector because he went over to the other side. Makes sense to me.

I've always wondered why they have to be fans. I was thinking an upright finned cylinder with the cab down at the ground would be much simpler. No matter which way the wind blows, it spins without having to turn into the wind.

I was driving south on 35W into Fort Worth. A pick up truck in the north bound lane hit the median and went air born. He sailed directly over the top of my car, barely missing me. If he had been 6" lower he would probably have rolled me over. If he had been 2' lower I would have been decapitat...
