The one from college station graduated from high school a couple of months ago. She has been accepted at three universities and wanted to study music and sociology.
She came for a week's visit and has told us that she has enlisted in the Air Force and reports for basic training in September. We listened and talked. I finally asked her why and she said the primary reason was a desire to serve like her mom and dad. She will do well.
Proud of a granddaughter.

That's great. It will give her some real life experience and a chance to really consider what she wants to do with her life too.
