Nope, they can carry books like we used to(under are arms) if they don't like clear backpacks! If you are going to a taxpayer funded school , you go by the rules. The first amendment doesn't apply here. It's not free speech to carry Drugs, arms or other prohibited items into schools. If you don't like it, go to a private school.

There is no reason to not carry a clear backpack that is on the right side of the law.

Who here gives a damn about how they feel? They need to learn how to follow rules before they have to follow them to get a paycheck.

Stop mollycoddling them.
