He doesn't look as old as his guitar. He's still writing great too. Here's the title song to his brand new CD.

She doesn't look that old on This Is Us....

Huey Lewis had to quit touring recently because he's lost his hearing... :x

Bad when it happens to anybody. Really unfortunate for a musician....

I've only seen him in concert once at Billy Bob's which sucks as a concert venue IMHO. Wish I had made it out to see him one more time. I took my oldest daughter to see Olivia Newton John and so glad I did since her cancer has come back again. My oldest daughter had no clue who ONJ was but really enjoyed the show. Oh and also glad I made to see Tom Petty (and Joe walsh) last fall. Next I want to see Hall and Oates again as it has been a while.

There's hardly any good music venues in the whole metro mess. Every time there is somebody I'd like to hear they are in Deep Ellum or a 2 hr drive. There's no place at all in Collin CO.

Aside from the fact that I like his music, I have a lot of respect for Huey Lewis for his integrity. When his break came, and the label wanted him to dump his band, he refused, and he still has the same band today (minus a couple who retired).

His loss of hearing is not due to exposure to loud music, like mine is..which never comes back.

He is believed to be suffering from Ménière’s disease. He still has hearing but he cannot hear well enough to sing over the music.

His may be treatable, and he may well be back doing concerts in the future.

I heard that the chances are Lewis coming back are low....so hopefully your information is better than mine.
