Calgary Stampede

Have you ever attended?

We are watching this week........ Our friend actually went to the event one year. He was VERY disappointed. The arena is so large that you need binoculars to see any of the action.

Neighbors from Rains County take their miniature horses, but despite having friends very nearby, we haven't made it, yet.

The finals are on Sunday, I think.

Check out the size of that arena before you invest in a trip/ticket. The audience is so far away from the chutes etc. it is better to watch on TV.

I bet the weather is a lot more comfortable than for the summer rodeos in Texas!
