But the U.S. and our closest allies have long supported Sunni militants.

And the U.S. and our closest allies have been arming and training Islamic jihadists in Syria for years. And see this, this, this and this.

I listen mostly at night when there are a few semi-rational right wingers on. I listen in the daytime to Savage because he is so hilarious. A complete loon!

To think that ISIS has all of a sudden become that most potent fighting force in the entire mideast and a genuine threat to the US because of weapons some Iraqis dropped on the ground is crazy. But, I've heard that from several squawkers lately.

We need to be absolutely sure of who is fighting ISIS and who is part of ISIS. Hearing military brass is very scary....they are very, very concerned. They are scrambling while our president is very busy playing golf. Golf will bring our country devastation . Imagine that! Obama's cavalier attitude is going to kill or injure many people. I don't think he cares at all. David Cameron immediately came back from his vacation upon hearing the British voice of the executioner. He has his intelligence service and military at the ready.

Even if what you say is true, what does that have to do with what we should do next?

Somebody needs to speak up and tell the Pentagon that Congress and not the GD Generals run US foreign policy. Dempsey needs a swift kick in the ass.
But, there seems to be nobody in Congress with guts any more. Quit funding an army and it goes away quicker than a fart in the desert.
