What state, specifically, do you think went for Obama that would have voted for a non-Mormon Republican?
It's hard to say. But Obama can't run this time. And whoever takes Ohio will win. Why would you run a Mormon from Utah against Hillary Rodham from Illinois and expect to win Ohio?

I don't agree that whoever takes Ohio will win. They may or they may not.
Whoever takes a majority of the electoral votes will win. It doesn't matter where they come from.
Hillary Clinton carries too much baggage to win..IMO. There is hardly a lie that she hasn't told and she's been caught in all of them.
I'm not even sure she can win the nomination.

The average Democrat voter has no problem with lies from their candidates.

That's what they said about her in 2008. She had it in the bag and blew it.
Hillary is an extremely poor campaigner. She doesn't like to mingle with the unwashed masses and thinks she's above all that.
She's basically a witch and when she gets tired and irritated she shows it.

I agree with all that and she's even worse when she's actually in office. But, the last election was different, against a man who was virtually worshiped by the left as a savior.
Make America Great Again. Impeach Trump! :P

If you want to know if Democrats will vote for a candidate with baggage, you need look no further than Sunny South Dallas.

That's not really the way it came down.

Obama came into it with little name recognition and very little money. Hillary was the heir apparent with all the money in the world.
She was a lazy campaigner. She spent huge amounts of money on 4 star hotels and gourmet meals. She would go into a state on a private jet, book herself into a luxury suite and take a little field trip every day to some town and speak to 200 or 300 people.
Obama was smart. He concentrated on delegate rich precincts only and didn't care whether he won the state or not.
Hillary won several big states with Obama taking as many delegates as she did and spending a lot less money.
She wouldn't listen to her staff. She thought she knew it all.
This is getting too long. I'll continue it in a later post.

Hillary could have knocked Obama of the race early if she had any sense.

She was way behind in Iowa. Had she withdrawn, Edwards would have won it. By staying in, she split Edwards' vote and let Obama win.
Her staff pleaded with her to drop out of Iowa. She, of course knew better.

Hillary went on to win New Hampshire.
If Obama had lost Iowa and New Hampshire, back- to- back, his money would have dried up and he would have soon left the race.
