Denver

Postby BigTex » Mon Jun 02, 2014 6:27 pm

Next week I have to drive to Denver then turn around and come back. I'm going to allow myself one day to rest up before making the return trip.

What's the one thing I have to do while I'm in Denver? (Atlanta will be in town playing the Rockies but that doesn't excite me much)

Not eat any brownies sold at the local pot shop.
It's ok if you disagree with me.

You need to gain access to the secret U.S. underground facility at Denver International Airport.

Why do you have to stay in Denver? Are you picking someone up at the airport? Stay in Colorado Springs. Much nicer than Denver.

If Miss Ethel's House of Soul is still there..there's your stop.
If you’re “woke”..you’re a loser.

Last August, that interstate between Colorado Springs and Denver was bumper to bumper........really bad.

It was so bad, we came home via Kansas and OKC.

Have no idea what to see/do in Denver, but I understand there is a US Mint there.
We drove west into Estes Park the time we actually went to Denver as a destination.

You really can't avoid I25 if your going to Denver. If you can, avoid it during rush hour. The peak tourist season doesn't start till about the 4th of July.
