The candidates...Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford

I voted for Ford and he won the western states, except for Hawaii.

1976 was my first election as well and I voted for Carter. He was the last Democrat I voted for in a Presidential election until Obama. It took me a long time to learn my lesson. :D
