What's With Joe Biden's Remarks about Syria?

Was Joe Biden lying last year or is he lying now about Syria? In a speech at Harvard he blamed the war in Syria on our allies, Quatar, Sauda Arabia, and Turkey who want to overthrow Assad in Syria. He implied we had nothing to do with it and didn't encourage them. But, that was not what he was saying a year ago. And certainly not what the administration had been saying since the violence began over 3 years ago when they were saying that Assad had to go over and over.

Then reportedly, Biden called Erdogan and apologized for the statement! So, WTF is going on? I'm not hearing any of this mentioned in the MSM or squawk radio.
Is this a major change in the administration policy or just Biden shooting off his mouth? What do you think.

Biden got a lot of press on the remark he made when a student asked a question and identified himself as the Vice President of the student council. Biden said: "Ain't it a bitch!"

While Biden may have been telling the truth, he wasn't telling the whole truth. These al Quida and ISIS terrorists are jihadist motivated, but they are not fighting on their own accord. They didn't just find their way to Syria because they hated the secular Assad. They are there because they were recruited as a paid mercenary force. They were armed and trained mostly in Lebanon by CIA and the Saudis. When injured they are sent to hospitals in Israel. There are reportedly about 1,500 of them there now.
