Why we don't have wars anymore
The reason is Congress has declare "war". So, instead we have "conflicts". Like in Syria where we are occupying the NE portion of the country. Which is where most of the oil is.
There is no bad peace and there are no good wars

People die, things get blown up, empires collapse, Houses fall, no matter what you call it.
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.

I suppose if some country came to Alaska and started pumping out the oil, it would be OK.
