Houston beat Duke in an epic comeback last night, 70-67. Unfortunately, the game winning points were scored due to an absolutely atrocious call by a referee. Pitiful. Houston was down by one point with about 20 seconds left, and Duke was shooting a 1-and-1. They missed the first shot, and Cooper Flagg for Duke was called for the most ticky-tack (and wrong) over the back call I've seen in a long time. Just ridiculous. For the 39 min and 40 seconds prior to that, the game had been brutal, but evenly called, IMO.

I'm happy for Houston, but Duke got hosed. I would have loved to see Houston win or lose it on a last possession shot, but the refs robbed us. Instead, we had Duke missing a last shot that seemed somewhat anti-climactic.

Way to ruin a great game, ref.
