Pay up losers!
Federal government resumes collecting..
Federal government resumes collecting..

Re: Federal government resumes collecting..
Are there rules that prevent schools from offering student loans out of their endowment? Would be interesting to see how they would feel about forgiving loans then.
Re: Federal government resumes collecting..
How about the institutes of education co-sign for the student loans, instead of forcing the taxpayers to do so ?

The Feds should never have gotten involved in this in the first place. Yeah, I know, its a moot (or mute, as PSteve would say) point.

One could "pay as you go". If you have to take a break for a semester or two to pay for the next term, nothing wrong with that. A lot of people used to do that, & I'm sure some still do. No law says you have to complete your degree in four years.

The way it looks now, the job market is going into the sewer and there will be few decent jobs. The great Trump depression is just beginning. When a mighty empire collapses it never comes back. Of the 8 largest empires in history not a one of them came back.
