I think NBC really wanted a triple crown winner....

Haven't watched any of this before, but the owner of CC sure spoke his mind.

CC was not a great horse; but it did what it needed to do in the first two races; and he got picked off by a ringer in the Belmont.

Of course, I'm not very knowledgeable about horse racing, but it is fun to watch...

Shoot, everyone wanted another one. I agree with his owner. Chrome got screwed.

About the TV coverage, did you notice how few graphics the network used?

You could see this one coming a mile away.

2 1/2 hours of prior Belmont race coverage was nothing but this horse, and the publicity hound character with the purple shirt and cowboy hat that owned him.

Nothing could live up to that hype. They had "losers" written all over them.

The owner had a point, until I thought about it.

Everyone played by the rules. He was bitter as hell and lost fair and square.

He sounded like a Lib crying after losing.

And yes, I was rooting for CC.

I missed his rant, but i think it was about the fact that some of the horses didn't race in all or the races?

That was a strategy..and a good one.

While a ringer was in and many did not expect or know this horse I'm betting the Vegas buys knew this all too we'll.
guessing they beta down lots of dollars betting on the ringer.
