I'm interested to know, PS, other than Ron Paul, who you would support, politically. We're going to have 435 representatives and 100 Senators. If we purge those, then who would you have fill those empty seats? After all it's not enough to say, "A pox on both houses"; there has to be a workable alternative.

I'm a libertarian. Small l. There are probably a number who I would agree with on their domestic policy and a few who I would agree with on foreign policy, but very few. I can't think of anyone in the current congress that I support. I kind of like Justin Amash of MI, but not sure of all his positions.

I could name quite a few people I could support, but none of them are politicians and none of them would ever stoop to run for public office or have a snowballs chance in hell if they did. :D

So, where does that leave us?

I can support candidates who are electable who will incrementally move us in the right direction on the majority of important issues, because (unless we ditch the Constitution) those seats are going to be filled by someone, and I'd prefer it not be a Communist/Socialist/Progressive.

It's a little late in the game for that jello. We've screwed the pooch and incrementally won't unscrew it.
