The Spurs snatched home-court advantage from Miami with an impressive 111-92 victory in Game 3 of the Finals, shooting a championship-series record 75.8 percent in the first half while Kawhi Leonard finished with a career-high 29 points with quality defense on LeBron James Thursday at American Airlines Arena.
The Spurs made 19 of their first 21 shots and 25 of their first 33 to take a 21-point lead at the break. The Heat made several runs, and got within seven points late in the third quarter. But the Spurs regained their poise and finished strong, using a 12-4 run midway through the fourth to put the Heat away for good.
Leonard needed just 13 shots to set his career-high after scoring a total of 18 in the first two games. James, who torched the Spurs in the second half of Game 2, finished with just 22. Danny Green and Tony Parker finished with 15 points apiece, and Tim Duncan had 14.
Game 4 is Thursday.

Sloppy Rangers can't keep late lead vs. Fish
By T.R. Sullivan / MLB.com
ARLINGTON -- The Rangers let a one-run lead slip away in the final three innings, as they suffered their fourth straight defeat with an 8-5 loss to the Marlins on Tuesday night.
The Marlins scored two in the seventh and two in the eighth. Three of the four runs were unearned because of three errors by the Rangers. The Rangers are 2-6 on their homestand.
The Rangers led 5-4 going into the top of the seventh before the Marlins regained the lead. Jason Frasor struck out the first hitter before Justin Bour smacked a hard grounder past second baseman Rougned Odor for a single.
Jeff Mathis followed with a potential double-play grounder up the middle. Odor had to go to his right to make a backhand play and appeared to be in position. But the ball went under his glove for an error, leaving runners at first and second. Adeiny Hechavarria then flied out to deep center, moving runners to second and third.
With Christian Yelich at the plate, manager Ron Washington went with Neal Cotts for a lefty vs. lefty matchup. Cotts got ahead 1-2 but hung a breaking ball, and Yelich lined it to left -- just off the tip of third baseman Adrian Beltre's glove for a two-run single.
The Marlins added two more runs in the top of the eighth on three singles and two throwing errors by left fielder Michael Choice and pitcher Tanner Scheppers.

The Spurs are looking good, but I doubt if they will be able to shoot 76% again like they did the first half. So, it looks pretty even right now. But, I'm still on track with picking the Heat to take it.

+1 if it goes to 7 again, the Spurs are toast. I don't think that LeBron is beatable in a game 7. IMHO
Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.
