Obamacare was modeled after Romneycare, the last Republican presidential candidate's govt. healthcare plan.
Medicare Part D (free pills for old people) was passed by the Bush administration without any funding to pay for it.

I think a case could be made, that RINOs may be even worse than Rats, in that the programs they design don't spectacularly fail on launch, and are more likely to function long enough to establish themselves and become vehicles for the Rats to expand.

Say for example the EPA, Patriot Act, TSA, DHS etc.

I would say G. H. W. Bush's combat experience was as great as any other President's during that period (Truman forward).
