The pilgrims celebrated the first Thanksgiving. They were immigrants.

However, they were NOT celebrating themselves as immigrants, they were giving thanks. And we All know it. To change the holiday to a celebration of immigration is to twist the meaning of the day. Those who say otherwise are just being contrary or very deliberately obtuse.

They were giving thanks that they had survived their first year in America. Celebrating that they were still alive. We're all immigrants or descendants of immigrants unless we are pure blooded indians.

Don't worry. I expect you will still be allowed to have turkey and dressing as long as you include some guacamole and a side of refried beans. :D

this is just preliminary work against certain people , groups and traditions . Traditional Americans are being made into the minority that they MAY eventually become . Heck , I think that mrobama and the dems call the illegals , Americans in waiting . Then again , might just be a poke in the eyes to annoy traditional Americans . He11 , mrobama does that kinda stuff all the time when for example he declares that America is a muslim founded country .

Not me, I can't stand either one.
I feel like I'm parked diagonally in a parallel universe.

In that case mash up some cow peas and greens. The taste is similar.
Tea + Water = Tea
Tea + Water + Sweetener = Sweet Tea
Any other designation is redUNdant
