Apocalypse , how long would you survive
Apocalypse , how long would you survive
'you gov' survey . Kinda similar to the electric grid going down , I just like these polls and surveys , something to think about , maybe prepare for ! --- https://today.yougov.com/news/2015/03/0 ... pocalypse/ ---
Re: Apocalypse , how long would you survive
My survival plan is based upon being better armed than most people around here.

Re: Apocalypse , how long would you survive
good PART of the plan . There are other things to consider though but you are off to a good start in my opinion and I'm no expert . As a conservative it looks like your mind set is correct .

You think you are better armed that roving gangs of looters? Good luck with that.

Make America Great Again. Impeach Trump!

Roving gangs around here will be armed with recyclables.

We have food for 4 months, enough ammo, vehicles are never allowed to be under half, wood for cooking, emergency generator, clean water is my weak point ,but I am within 5 miles of a large lake.
It's a joke son,I say a joke
Re: Apocalypse , how long would you survive
Ranch is remote enough to hold out for some time. Welder will run the well, plenty of wood to cook and stay warm, ammo and a 12 volt fuel pump, if it really gets bad. You could fuel from the underground tanks.
Re: Apocalypse , how long would you survive

Yes..and there are two other competitors now..within a few blocks, on the same street.
Stevensons, Gun World (the biggest one) and Guns Direct..all are within walking distance of me.

yeah , Stevensons , I was in there but it was a long time ago . Bought an old 12 gauge Winchester pump off them . Good to see that they are still there . You ever check out Martin Retiegs [sp] in Culver City . They were a good store .

Don't know that one. The big stores around here are the "Ammo Brothers"..that's where I bought my Smith and Wesson AR 15 a while back.

Looks like a great place..I'm not interested in antiques or collectibles though..not a collector.
..and I don't hunt. My guns are for shooting humans.

I like all hardware , he had very expensive CLAIMED original muskets from the early 1700s . Same for swords , knives when I was in there maybe 10 - 12 years ago . I like the history plus he has / had nice affordable modern guns at the time . Same thing with 'REDSTAR' when it was across the street . Another good place was PONY EXPRESS somewhere , think it was VAN NUYS but that was a long time 10 - 12 years ago and I think that they were closed down .
