Chelsea Clinton: What my dad taught me

Postby BillB » Fri Jun 13, 2014 6:39 pm

I don't know if this is a joke or intended to be serious.

Chelsea Clinton, who grew up in a White House dogged by scandal but one that also protected her from the media's spotlight, credits her dad's "words and even more his actions" for teaching her right and wrong.

Chelsea said that Bill Clinton also taught her one of credos. "Certainly, one of his credos that I've adopted fully is that it is always better to get caught trying than to never have tried at all."

I think it's a joke.

It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

He taught her the virtues of being a doormat.
If you’re “woke”..you’re a loser.

Have you heard of Chelsea's gig for NBC that pays her $600K a year for about 8 stories a year? Yeah, main stream media isn't in the democrats back pocket. Please....

What do you suppose a college graduate with a degree in journalism gets to start at NBC?

I would have taken it 40 years ago.

And if I had worked for NBC for 40 years I still wouldn't be making $600K a year.

Wonder what they are paying the Bush girl?

Don't know what they paid Jenna Bush. If what I am reading is correct, Chelsea is making more than Jill Abramson made as editor of the NY Times.

No liberal bias here, move along, nothing to see.

Sounds like he taught her how to shake down a TV network. Get elected. Do a bunch of political favors, and get paid for them after you leave office.
Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.
