I love sitting outside in the middle of the night.
I love sitting outside in the middle of the night.
Our yorkies also love it. A pack of coyotes started howling out in the pasture. Dogs barking and raising he'll is not nearly as pretty a the coyote songs.

Coyote howling and yipping gives me the creeps. Far from my favorite sound.
Working to love my fellow person regardless : >

I love the sound. Always have even when I was a kid.

Guess I've had too many critters eaten by them to enjoy the sound.
I just wonder what they are killing now when I hear them.

If we raised sheep or goats my attitude might be different. In forty plus years
we have never lost a cow or calf to coyotes. They fill an important niche in nature.

Now that they have eaten all of the chickens in the neighborhood, I don't hear coyotes at all.
I enjoy hearing the call of the "Chuck-Will's-Widow," a night bird that I mistakenly thought was a Whippoorwill until recently.

I frequently hear them, in the woods in back of our pasture, before dawn. Much nicer sound than coyotes.

Seen anything strange in the skies yet?
A bad peace inevitably leads to a worse war.
