We talked about leaving tonight after I get off work, but will end up waiting until tomorrow. Hubby doesn't feel well, so I've had no help getting things done.

Re: What are you thankful for today?
Today I'm thankful for antihistamines that have made Alex (my younger Poodle) stop scratching and tearing out his hair. He has bald spots all over his body. Silly boy. He only does this in the dead of summer. Can't figure out what he's allergic to.
And Harry's recovery is continuing smoothly.
And I actually slept pretty well last night.
And my Christian author client sent me a wonderful devotional to post on her site this month.
Oh, and AIR CONDITIONING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every day, I am thankful for that day. I always start the day sitting outside with a cup of coffee, a couple of pipes and my dogs. As I sit there, I give thanks.

I'm thankful for the Longhorn Network, which replayed the 2008 Texas-OU game this morning.
#1 OU vs. #5 Texas
Bob Stoops vs. Mack Brown
Sam Bradford vs. Colt McCoy
Brent Musberger vs. Kirk Herbstreit
Texas 45 OU 35 (spoiler alert, folks)

Re: What are you thankful for today?
Yes, Grouchy.
As of yesterday afternoon Harry is back normal. That includes dragging my shoes out from under the desk and demanding attention when he's bored.
We had a quiet 4th. I got a lot of work done.
Today I get to listen to my favorite 3 sermons on the radio and count my blessings. Gonna be a great day.
