The “Master the Human Domain” philosophy had remained illusive, but I’ve been able to find where this phrase comes from using government document USAWC CIVILIAN RESEARCH PROJECT, Institutionalizing Interdependence: U.S. Army Special Operations Forces / Conventional Forces “No Turning Back,” dated April 30, 2013, which I have converted to a pdf below on page 15 and 16 reference:
“The acknowledgment of the human domain is an important step as Sun Tzu recognized, “fJade Helm 15 Acme of Skill Mastering the Human Domain explanationit to win one hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the acme of skill. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.”
“Although perhaps a loose interpretation of Sun Tzu, I believe one key to subdue an enemy without fighting is a better understanding of the human nature of conflict and building systems within the doctrine, organizations, training, material, leadership and education, personnel, facilities (DOTMLPF) construct of the joint capabilities integration development system (JCIDS) to address shortfalls.
