Tampa Bay Times says he's never been a 9 to 5 guy but I don't question that he does work some.

There's no way I could work longer hours. I'm not working any now.

This news is one month old.
If you’re “woke”..you’re a loser.
Re: Jeb reveals his plan to fix the economy
Jeb Bush doesn't have to work. Like so many other politicians, he has achieved his wealth through bribes, kickbacks, and sweetheart deals.

Jeb and G.W. achieved their wealth from their father. I'm sure there was also what you pointed out.

Re: Jeb reveals his plan to fix the economy
The things that people will believe never fails to amaze me.
I will preface this by pointing out that I am not in the tank for Bush; I am ambivalent about him.
However, what he said is absolutely, 100% true.
The big problem with the economy now is that too many people are either not in the work force, or they are working part time. A massive percentage of people working part-time or not at all means that, on average, "people need to work more hours."'
Yes, I usually worked 60-70 hours per week, and when I was on summer vacation, 30-35 hours per week. Retired, I will probably work 10 hours per week on average. But many people are not working full-time, often because of government requirements that limit the number of hours than can be worked before extra benefits kick in. My son, who works part-time at Cabela's, was affected by this, and my Dual Credit program at my high school was affected, too. As our program grew, we began to have a difficult time staffing our sections because of IRS/Obamacare regulations on part-time workers. They wanted to work, but the law wouldn't allow them to do it.
That's crazy.

Bush is either crazy or extremely stupid. Americans are already the most overworked people in the world. Here's some proof:
The U.S. is the Most Overworked Developed Nation in the World – When do we Draw the Line?

I do my part and then go try and take up the slack for them 93 some odd million that have a cell phone, don't ever go hungry, and seem to be able to come and go pretty much without worry about the next meal. And seem to be able to go forth and multiply without much worry over that either.

Those of us that still have full-time jobs are working harder than ever before. This is the hardest I've ever worked in my life.
The corporate culture in America sucks compared to what it was 25 years ago.

Re: Jeb reveals his plan to fix the economy
It was pretty clear the way it was going years ago when I retired. Those that remained were expected to absorb more and more of the workload. No new people were being hired. The person that replaced me 6 months later was carried out of the building on a stretcher with a nervous breakdown.Mark wrote:Those of us that still have full-time jobs are working harder than ever before.
