Kevin McCarthy had an encounter with Robert Schuller I wish you could hear him tell about.
Kevin had Schuller on his show as a guest pumping a new book.
On-air, Schuller was all sweetness and light.
During breaks all he did was complain about the stupid audience and the stupid calls.
McCarthy summed Schuller up as "a bad guy".

So, Ralph, because it is a "free country" you think it is acceptable to prey on the gullible and the desperate? There really isn't much difference between these guys and your garden variety con artist. Yes, we should be able to do as we wish with "our" money. But, don't you think we should get what we pay for? In this case that isn't even a possibility. Empty promises to desperate people in exchange for money they don't have or can afford to donate.

And there is that donation issue. A donation isn't like a retail transaction. And, soliciting donations for charity under false premises is illegal at various levels, I believe. And admit it, even if the fine print protects them we know what is going on...they are scamming people for personal gain, for executive jets, lavish "parsonages"...people who can hardly able to afford food and rent in many cases.

gullible and desperate , looks like an OPINION on some UNKNOWN strangers state of mind . I generally don't trust anyones opinion , even head doktors or other expurts to judge a persons state of mind 'cd' . Certainly don't trust your judgement regarding what we know from this thread 'cd' . If a person owns some money in America they can spend it ANYWAY they like . Exception may occur if a persons money is put in the control of a court ordered trustee I think , course that goes to court . Until the money is put in the hands of a trustee the person can spend THEIR money as they wish 'cd' . Other than my example I generally don't think its any of my business how any person in the USA spends their money 'cd' !!
