A Quite Sunday or Fun with Supressors

Postby Red Oak » Mon Nov 02, 2015 1:46 pm

I spent a rainy Sunday afternoon, assisting a friend of mine complete a Suppressor.

My assistance consisted of letting him use my shop and tools, and well as overseeing and coaching him on proper of Machine tools, he did all the actual work.

After it was completed and assembled he tried it out, very successfully.

We were very happy that the suppressor didn't go down range with the bullet :D

.

Of course you notified the ATF folks that you had created this device and applied for appropriate licensing. I have a couple solvent adapters so when cleaning I don't have any drippng from the barrel because of the attached oil filter. ;)

I guess I need to get my eyes checked. When I first read this thread's title, I thought it said... A Quiet Sunday or Fun with Scissors. I was hoping for a craft thread, LOL. Carry on......
