Your Texas Rangers
Your Texas Rangers
At 35-22 they are in first place in the AL West and have the most wins in the AL. After watching quite a few games, they look like they may be the real deal this year. Hope they can keep it up. I'm really hoping to get to a game soon.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
I am really enjoying this season. Even though they have a couple of automatic outs in the lineup, they are still putting a whuppin' on everybody else these days. Especially happy that the youngsters are making a difference.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
I am going to try this keep this thread updated throughout the season. Hope we are still talking about the Rangers in October!
Re: Your Texas Rangers
Maybe they can keep punching on the opponents. Do your girls enjoy baseball?
Re: Your Texas Rangers
Still worried about the bullpen.

That was a nail biter last night but the Rangers pulled it out again. Some bad fielding cost the Astros the game. That used to be us. Profar did well at first base, I thought.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
I missed tonight's loss, am hearing about an injury to Beltre and Darvish having tightness in his shoulder. Not good at all.

Re: Your Texas Rangers
Beltre came out late in the game while running the bases. After he stopped, he reached back and touched his hammie. After a few seconds, he motioned to the bench and walked off the field. Based on what I saw, it looked like he might have a very mild muscle strain. In the past, he probably would have ignored it, but given his history of hamstring problems, I think he may just being cautious. He certainly didn't wasn't having any difficulty walking off the field.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
They were planning to rest Beltre today anyway. Hopefully that will be enough.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
Tolleson and Wilhemsen were back and pitched last night. Wilhemsen gave up the two runs that lost us the game. Tolleson looked pretty good.

I wouldn't trust Wilhelmsen at the bean bag toss at the county fair.

Heh....lol
Dyson threw too many pitches the night before. They had to do something different last night.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
Rangers playing right now. Fielder just hit a homer...good for him! Rangers up 4 to 2.
Re: Your Texas Rangers
Have you made it to any games?
Re: Your Texas Rangers
I forget to set the DVR this morning. So I will watch the replay at 7:00. Will have to stay off social media.
