I recall a number of cerals around the house as a kid, adv got me to want Carnation Instant Breakfast. Mom got it and it became my staple after watching my older brother get a cockroach in his second bowl of ceral one morning. The look on his face was priceless.

I was suckered by the ads into wanting Fruit-Loops, but when I tried them in one of those "variety packs", I quickly changed my mind.
My favorites growing up were Cheerios (w/sliced bananas), Frosted Flakes and Life.

Lucky Charms - the only cereal more gross than Fruit Loops, IMHO
