This ran in the Star Telegram in Dec or 2003 or Jan 2004:
Thunders Tiny Dancer
American Pit Bull Terrier/April 16 1996-November 8 2003
A gentle giant, he outweighed most of the neighborhood kids that came over to play with him.
Intimidating? Sure. But he never hurt a fly, a fine spokesman for his breed. By being there he lifted me out of a rotten time in my life, loving me unconditionally, Lord knows I tried to return that love. Kidney Disease took you from me, playing in the lake, riding in the truck, stretched out on the couch, and his most favorite thing of all, chasing that goofy squriell up and down the fence. Your two partners in crime, Liberty and Rosie still look for you. (So do I)
Dancer, you were on fine dog. Wait for me at The Rainbow Bridge, we will be together again.
Liberty passed a good time ago. She was Dancers half sister: same Dad different Mom. Rosie is a Skipperkee of 15 yrs and suffers from old age and the cheese comming off the cracker.
