Favorite old Restaurants to remember

Postby crocmommy » Fri May 12, 2017 12:11 pm

I like to talk about stuff from way back, so I thought I would bring up restaurants. Where were some of the places you all liked to go....here are mine

1. Southern Kitchen
2. Zuider Zee
3. Shakey's
4. Chubby's
5. Mickey Mantle's

Add Vincent's to that list.

Original Huerrea's (bad spelling of the name I am sure).

Not necessarily the best, but MY favorites, four past and one present

1. Steak & Ale (easily my first choice)

2.Youngbloods Fried Chicken ( just east of the Inwood Theatre onLovers Lane)

3 Daddys Money (Greenville ave just nort of ParkLane)

4 Old Warsaw ( Since the 1940's, a Dallas Showcase)

5. Safari,(Preston Royal Shopping Center-mans cut tenderloin for $5.95)

* If my memory were better I know I could name more.
