Carbonaro Effect TV show

Have you ever watched this show?

The star is a magician and he pranks people/hidden camera etc.

The things he does mystify me, as to how he pulls it off.

I've seen it and think it is faked.
The show claims the "victim" is not in on it and that the tricks do not benefit from film editing.
I don't believe it.
