question for the gun folks

Postby grouchy » Tue Jul 29, 2014 5:35 pm

What is the value of a model 80 gold cup. New in the box, all the various documents, slide never even cycled? Manufactured about 23 years ago.

NRA collectors gun show at Market Hall in Dallas this weekend. It would be a good time and place to move it if you are wanting to sell.

I'd say about $400, when can you sell it?

Thank ya Steve and Gopher. Grassie, looks like everyday hopper said about you is true.

I have never sold a gun, have given quite a few away as gifts but never wanted to sell. I bought this one in case my model 70 ever needed to be retired and it is still working fine.

I might just sell this one.

Actually he spoke highly of you, I was trying to give you a complement on your sense of humour.

From you a check would be fine. Prince would need some tweaking.

We finally got around to going through my late Father in Law's guns. Some pretty darn cool ones in his (mine now) collection.

My favorite one is not worth much, but it is already hanging on the wall in our newly remodeled living room. 1901 American Gun Company double barrel 12 ga with exposed hammers. It is in great condition for its age.

Another one is a Govt issued 12 gauge his brother used to guard prisoners when they were on chain gangs.

I am going through the pistols and ammo this week.
