Stunned to read this.
Dub has been part of DD since the beginning....
Shocked.

I think all of the DD community feels the same about the news.

What happened to him?

He seemed like a fairly young man..but maybe not.

Sad day , never met him , loved seeing / reading about his house in the woods.

No word yet. It was sudden. His family will post the cause and service information when it is available.

Kathy said he had high blood pressure and did not take Rx for it.
Apparently he died in his sleep and his son found him.

I just feel so sad. Met him in real life twice. Always enjoyed his comments etc.

I'm thinking he was 60ish?? Just seems young to us now.

I admired the way he looked after his ex wife when she was dying with cancer.

Yes, I forgot all that.

I just remember him building a house out in the woods with a shower outside!

60ish..way too young.

You always hear about people that don’t take their blood pressure medicine..such an easy thing to do, take a pill.

Grapevine says his family thinks it was heart attack in his sleep.

I think we all want to go that way--just go to bed and never wake up.
Shock to the family though.

On his home page, his SIL says that they HOPE to do a memorial at his place after Thanksgiving.

An autopsy needs to be completed and that Dub wanted his body to go to science. Plans are delayed because of the autopsy.
