A simple heads-up

Postby Sangersteve » Tue Nov 14, 2017 8:06 am

For the old timers, you might remember from DD, my son PonderMike.

His test results indicate he has colon cancer. Caught it early, the docs have a plan. Outlook is good.

I send a prayer that he recovers with no problems. FWIW, I know at least 3 people who have survived that cancer, because it was found early.

I remember that your son popped in from time to time, but had forgotten his name. All I remembered was his town was in the name, similar to your name.

I played poker with him a couple of times. Great young man.
Fwiw, I had the same thing happen to me about 8 years ago. He can beat it.
Prayers from Karen and I.

The doc had to open him up to get to the area that needed attention, couldn't get there with the scope. Removed about 6 inches of colon and some bowel. They got all the cancer. He goes Monday for the scan to make sure it didn't spread to the lymph nodes.

He's up and walking, very sore but happy about the outcome.

His best friend was there yesterday when I went to visit, and yes, we teased him about being a whiner.

Well he had some cancer in the lymph nodes, so next up is some radiation and chemo.

When we talked yesterday he is still upbeat and sure the treatments will be the fix.

We also talked about some homeopathy stuff, little steps first, try to get him into an alkaline body state. Cancer hates alkaline, so some #4 Crazy water from Mineral Wells and diet changes.
