As awful as the past week has seemed, the Rangers went 4-6 on a tough road trip to New York, Minnesota, and Boston. That's not horrible for 10 days on the road. The Rangers set the bar pretty high in June, and we got a little spoiled by them.

Things will turn around soon enough.

Gosh I hope so....it's been brutal the last week or so. The radio guys think the Rangers kind of got thrown off after that strange late night game in NY.

I hope Darvish can come back and pitch for the rest of the season this time.

I agree with both of those. That NY game was a bit of a Pyrrhic victory, but just a little pitching help is all the Rangers need.

Hamels is struggling tonight. In fact, he just got the hook.

Geez Louise, they were crawling to the all-star break.

The optimist in me says they will come back refreshed, some of their injured will be back, and things will be better. The pessimist in me says the first half was fool's gold and they will tank.

Whatever we have here, I have really enjoyed the season so far.

"Not to worry. They've got seven games against the Twins coming up."

They were still scoring runs, so it's all about pitching. Daniels needs to find one more starter.

I expect JD to add a starter and a bullpen arm.

Darvish and Kela should both join the team this weekend.

A bullpen of Dyson, Diekman, Bush, Kela, Tolleson, and player x added by JD would be rather formidable. Some of these other guys won't be around much longer.

I was afraid I would live to regret saying that.

Wait...I didn't say that...I said this. Still regret saying that.

It wasn't directed at you, just the general tone I was hearing when the pitchers started hitting the DL.

Yeah but I knew I said something close to that. At least it wasn't THAT bold.

That's pretty much how I see it.

Scratch Drew Pomeranz from the list of trade targets.

It kinda sounds like the Red Sox paid dearly for this trade.

The Rangers won on Sunday. Sounded like Hamels was great.

We needed Sunday because Friday and Saturday were hard to watch.

I've been quite busy and have had to listen when I can. I am surprised at the errors that keep popping up, especially from Beltre. He must be very frustrated.

Now there is talk about Scheppers getting ready to pitch again. I hope he can help this time.

It is amazing how they can go from doing no wrong to playing like that. That one was difficult to watch.

Yep, Odor couldn't find the handle one time. They needed that out right then.
