Sounds like you were over in my part of town. I saw a dead one on Hunter Ferrell a few months ago. There are open fields and river bottoms out that way near Lone Star Park.

Wild hogs NEED to be killed. First, they won't get to reproduce anymore and second they're very hard on livestock. Sometimes with their rooting snouts, they leave holes that cows and horses can break their leg. That's really sad. I like having bobcats around. Our chickens were safely in the coop every evening. The only worry we had with them were snakes and hawks.
