My daughter said that Rush Limbaugh said today that he has decided that he is really a slim person.

Does that make him Trans-Fat or Trans-Slender?

I see a movie coming. "Diary of a mad white woman who thinks she's black".

Maybe Kanye West and either a Kardasian or maybe whopi in the role?

About 50 years ago I read Black Like Me, about a white man from Dallas who darkened his skin and went to colored areas posing as a black man, how he was treated there and then how he was treated in white areas. It was differant, but it wa also the 1960's.

They made a movie based on the book starring James Whitmore.

It was a great book. Really made me think about what a minor thing like skin color means in this world. Even in the 21st century it's hard to be black and it just shouldn't be that way. There are 2 black boys and a 1/2 black girl in our family. Their parents can speak volumes to the discrimination that still occurs and the cruel comments made to mixed race families. Lots of mean people out there. Thank God there are also more good folks than bad.

You can still find racism amongst whites, though it is getting harder to find.

Racism amongst black people against whites and others however, is rampant.

I think that white on black racism , violence is pretty much BS coming from liberals and liberal media and mrobama , al sharptun , hilary types . Black on white racism is pretty rampant though , its all over the place unless the white person is ready to kiss black azz . Blacks want pay back , I think that they'll get it in the future generations .

I'm with Grouchy..............but then I live in northeast Texas. I see plenty of racism by whites. In many ways it's 1960 up here.

Black people..who mostly live in big cities..are commonly (but not universally) angry, spiteful, believe they are kept down by some unseen power..and are therefore entitled to any piece of anything..from anyone.

White people generally fall all over themselves to tip toe around issues because they are at any moment subject to be labeled as racist, for simply being honest.

Racism amongst blacks is not only rampant because of all this, it is accepted as understandable and justified.

This all creates hyper racism amongst blacks and hyper "over consideration" and hyper "tolerance" from whites.

good post and info , observations Greg . Doesn't work with me but then I very rarely run into the problem as people are pretty homogeneous around where I live .

and then it depends on what racism 'is' . If a guy dislikes a race is that racism . Is it racism if a guy avoids going over to the neighbors house because of the race of the neighbor . [I don't think so] Lots more examples but to me Americans have the Right of free association so no matter the reason for avoiding a person it is no one elses business . To me Racism that causes violence is the problem . If you don't want your Chippewa Indian daughter to bring her 'english' boyfriend to the house because he is 'english' then I see no problem !! Thing is that if there is no violence then I laugh or disregard charges of 'racism' !!
