And I saw a "Big Foot" crossing sign going up the Pikes Peak HWY yesterday. "Accusations" nor signs are the equivalent of facts and evidence.
I'm also curious where people gat all this information regarding the conduct of the two parties. Both versions I have heard are obviously self-serving. So, how do you know what really happened. I would love a link to a video. Did the women go in demanding a "gay wedding cake"? How can you be so sure these women "targeted" these people? And please, no "We know how those people are." comments.
Perhaps, it was the bakers that were rude and in your face to the women. You know, like most of the posts above suggest the folks here might be. I see a self-righteous homophobe looking for a chance to "make a stand". My experience is that people doing that do not care one wit how the victim reacts. My point is that we DON'T know what happened. But, a lot of these posts read as if the writer had been in the shop. Now, my feeling is tat the Klein's brought this on themselves. They could have avoided this. They should have known they were creating a vulnerability for themselves. I think these people could have demurred safely had they wanted to...a we are too booked sort of approach...or even we no longer do Wedding Cakes (even if it is of that instant). Instead, they chose to "make a stand" (for the wrong) and refuse on religious grounds. Again, based on my experience with this type of "Christian" I suspect they results were pretty offensive.
Had I been in that position I would sincerely hope there would be a law I could invoke...in retaliation. I find the probable lack of civility as offensive as the actual discrimination. These people are always so arrogant.
