lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
not saying that I'm right , just pointing out what I've seen with a 'rino' congress on issues like [off topic example] 'obamacare' . rinos say they will defund when they are looking for votes yet they do nothing . Same will happen with this 'gay marrage' deal I think . A Constitutional Amendment . He11 , we'll be talking about this homosexual marrage law of the land in 2050 if we are still around Greg .

A President plays a part in everything that goes to or through Congress.
Read Article V of the constitution.
There is nothing there about the president. The president doesn't even sign a proposed amendment. He has nothing to do with the process.
Amendments are purely a function of congress and the states.

The Constitution of the United States
* * * * * * * * * *
Article V
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

I mean , there may be reasons to support Walker , I just don't think that his squishy words and plans on this homosexual marriage deal is a reason to support him .

Talking baloney about an amendment is one reason not to support him.
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
it is my impression that Walker does as most every other candidate does as he talks about economy , jobs and that's about it as everyone cheers . Walker may be good on those issues but economy and jobs were always my problem to solve and I always had one , the other or both . The only ones that talk about issues that concern me are Trump , Cruz , Carson and a few others .

We all know that.
But the President sets the tone for everything that happens in the country.
You're being too literal.
If you’re “woke”..you’re a loser.
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
Oh please! Ralph, if you have unity in your home on every issue, your wife is a squish or just doesn't give a darn. Scott Walker's wife is free to agree or disagree on any topic with her husband. She's not a robot (thank God) and has a dear cousin who is lesbian. Personally, I'm glad she's not in lock step. I really don't care for wives that agree with every single thing their husbands say or do. I firmly believe that's why God created a mother and a father. I'm the soft touch in our family and my husband was the "stand firm one". It works.
BTW, I've worked on campaigns and just recently gave it up. I'm tired and it's time for me to relax a bit. But my husband never discouraged me from working on campaigns. "Just don't get me involved" is his motto. He thinks all pols are crooks, except for two judges. (Sangersteve knows one of the brothers)

Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
I disagree and in Christian circle its even got a name and its 'unevenly yoked' Ann . And this gay marriage issue is a big deal to have disunity within a family , imo . Some people would even go so far to say that he was a poor father because he didn't instill the right values in his sons . Otherwise , good morning Ann !! And , as I have said many , many times , I am not a standout Christian , I just know a LITTLE little bit about what the bible says .
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
BUT , getting back to what Walker talked about in his speech and away from the gay issue , its like I say , he talks , economy , jobs and other issues that have really never affected me one way or the other in my fairly long life but the issues that matter to me like immigration for example he has had different wishy washy things to say at different times . To me Walker talks pretty much like all the other rinos that are running . And then , he11 , he doesn't even raise his boys with a proper Christian set of values / attitude concerning 'homo marriage' after having been raised by a 'baptist' minister father .
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
and my concern is not with the wife in the home influencing her husband , my concern is with her in the 'whitehouse' influencing the 'president' of the USA . Is it good that 'mochelle' influences 'mrobama' and Hilary influenced 'bill' . Will it be good or acceptable when 'bill' influences 'president Hilary ??
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
Holy cow. Do we need to start a list of all the spouses that have influenced sitting presidents?
We may be here awhile.
Who doesn't know you get the spouse as part of the deal?

Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
yep , Mexican spouses and gay marriage supporting or sympathetic spouse's and I just mention because a voter ought to take into account what they are getting before they pull the lever .
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
and , just thought of it but just like a 'king' and 'queen' team of rulers and the 'royal families' bush , clinton chomping at the bit to get back on the throne .
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
Name a candidate who's not just chomping.
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
they all chomp , my main thought was the 'king and queen' deal . Second thought , I imagine that its more important to the 'bush' dynasty as it keeps it going , makes it more established . And another bush in the presidency will help to better establish a bi cultural multi generational 'jorge' .
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
You need to get over your obsession with Jeb Bush. The country will not elect another Bush anytime in the near future.
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
hope you are correct but ALL the bush's disagree with you B.T. , I mean the current bush is counting on following in his 'bush' predecessors foot steps and 'jorge' is making his moves in politics .
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
What he wants doesn't matter. It's what the voters want. Surely you understand that.
Re: lack of Unity in Scott Walker household
just doing my best to tear ALL the 'booshes' down B.T. . As I said , the next generation of 'booshes' is already in Texas as 'land commisioner' as he builds a following . And lastly , I don't trust American voters , look who they voted in for 'prez' these last 2 elections .
