You can misspell it anyway you want.

Check the maps..all of the U.K is part of Europe.

--------------------------------------- I just gave you my reasons for me personally misspelling 'euro'peon' and as already said , England is no part of the europeon continent as it is an 'island' Greg :D .

So is Manhattan..which is part of the U.S...and also part of North America.

Man, this is a dumb conversation.

Could you just say.."Ok, got it..thanks!"

Well, if you're going to be picky about it, the island of Great Britain is made up of England, Scotland & Wales. Everything I find online says it is part of the continent of Europe. To say it isn't is like saying Greenland, Long Island, or the Florida Keys aren't part of North America.

Traditionally the Brits do NOT consider themselves European.
I will take their word for it.

For the most part, millenials are completely unaware of the world around them. They were educated in a system that shaped them into drones, compliant with the Leftist government that rules over them, and they haven't yet lived long enough to overcome that programming.

I don't always like to consider myself a Californian, but I'm kind of stuck with it.

It sounds like people in Scotland are really po'd about this.

They came close last time to almost separating from England. This time they'll do it, because they identify with being European much more than being with Britain.

Ironically, same goes for London. People there are feeling like separating from the rest of England and going with the rest of Europe..I don't know how THAT works!

Oh how I wish that New York, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, and San Francisco would separate from the United States.

ETA: And Austin, too.

OK, just stop. Please let Jello, the social studies teacher, resolve this:

England (and all of the UK) is part of the European continent. Period. So is Iceland. The fact that they are islands is irrelevant. Galveston is an island, and I don't know anyone who thinks it's not part of the North American continent.

NATO was formed after World War II (1949), and is an organization of mutual defense against outside forces (originally, the USSR and its allies).
The European Union was formed in 1993 as a political body to create uniform laws throughout Europe in order to counter the political might of the United States after the breakup of the USSR.
The Eurozone is made up of 19 of the 28 countries in the EU who have adopted the Euro as their currency.

Note: Cyprus is part of the EU and Eurozone, but is not part of NATO. It is actually part of the Asian continent.

Genetically I am 75 percent European, does that make me European ?

I am a Texan, Southerner, and American in that order.

Only if they would also take Detroit. OK, start with Austin, and we'll work from there.

If we could getbrid of the D.C. Beltway, the rest of the country could be fixed, through it might take some attitude adjusting.

No, but it would make you of European ancestry..and also ethnically European..(unless they were Syrian migrants)

..and sorry, but "Texan" is not an ethnicity..neither is "Southern."

hell the 'euro'peons' and others draw what they call official maps that delete or ignore the State of Israel. As RedOak said Brits don't consider themselves to be 'euro'peon' . Calling the Brits 'europeon' is / may just be more revisionism . --------------------- Except for the 'milenials' that want to be euro'peon' but are now crying because of the BRexit .

When I completed the most recent census form for my household, when it asked for race, I entered "American."

The federal government uses race to divide us. It's really none of their business what race anybody is.

For whatever reason..I guess you like English people..and dislike "other" Europeans..(as if Spanish, Italian and Dutch people are all the same)..which if course is the problem with the EU.

You can dislike anyone you want, but you don't get to rewrite all of history, and all of Geography because of your bogus views.

You need to grow up about this..and maybe even do some traveling.
